Spring break…
…will be a foggy one for me. I’ve been accepted into the Pop Culture Association’s national conference (Music in Popular Culture section) in San Francisco. I’ll be presenting on Grandaddy, indie rock, Americana, kitsch, Modesto, the Moog synthesizer, milkshakes, fudge recipes, the Rocky Mountains, taxidermy, semiotics, skateboarding, trucker caps, family cats and Todd Rundgren… all at once!
Thanks for the excuse to go to San Fran, Grandaddy. Now I just need to put together a good proposal for Computers and Writing, and I’ll be set for the year.
