Beautiful ground
Ah, nice. The blog for the Institute of the Future of the Book has acknowledged a fan vid for the Grandaddy song “Jed’s Other Poem (Beautiful Ground)”—a clip that I just happen to be showing in my PCA/ACA panel this March. This piece, programmed entirely on a 1979 Apple, was eventually adopted by Grandaddy as their official video for the song… a nice turn of events for the writer, and for old-school computer geeks everywhere.
