This blog’s been altogether too texty of late. Time to kick back a little and play around on the ol’ interweb.
Anybody remember Ultimate Flash Face? Well, it’s back, this time at a new home that doesn’t crash quite so often. I used to use this site with FYC as we talked about students’ idea[l]s of beauty. I had ‘em build their best (i.e. most “beautiful” possible) male and female faces, print ‘em out and bring ‘em to class. Of course, they mostly wanted to talk about how frustrated they were at the lack of options. No dark skin available! Always ended up being a good discussion.
EDIT: Oh, and I just found these. A little bit weirder, but similar.
