EDIT: And here’s Yahoo’s response. I kinda like the way they handled this; they admitted that readers might legitimately see it as racial bias, and didn’t go overboard trying to defend themselves. In reality, Yahoo didn’t write the captions and probably never saw the two photos together before publishing them, so it’s good to see that they acknowledged them nonetheless.
